Introduction and Function
5XW-100 indented cylinder is a newly developed mode. It’s simple in structure , reliable in performance and easy to operate. It’s suitable to clean small sized seeds. Seeds are separated from impurities by length or graded by length. After cleaning by the machine, the purity is improved and seeds are with similar size, which is good for mechanization seeding.
The machine can also be used with other small sized machines.
Working Principle
The working principle of 5XW-100 indented cylinder is based on the different length of seeds and the impurities. Harmful grass seeds can be removed, and seeds can also be graded based on length.
Indented cylinder is a cylinder made of metal whose inner wall has a lot of greapels with certain size and form. Inside the cylinder there is a separating trough made of iron plate.
When the cylinder is rotating, materials shorter than the diameter of the greapel drop in the greapel and fall in the separating trough when they reach certain height, and materials longer than the diameter of the greapel can not drop in the greapel and are discharged from the rotating cylinder.
Structure
The machine consists feeding hopper, feeder, indented cylinder, discharging port, separating trough, auger conveyor, support, tow and foundation, etc. The feeding quantity of the feeder is controlled by disk varistor on control box, and during operating, please note fine adjusting. Indented cylinder and cylinder ring are fixed by binding lever. The rotating speed of the cylinder can be adjusted based on different seeds to be cleaned. There are wheels on the foundation and it makes it easy to move the machine.
